Soft-LED

Soft-LEDTM is a dynamic drapery product made possible by the advancement of LED technology. Made of high quality IFR black drapery, Soft-LED combines Main Light's touring and stage experience with Color Kinetics' expertise in designing LED technologies and control systems. In simple terms it is a theatrical drape that allows user to display graphics and video content.

As the first Australian company to have Soft-LED on their inventory in we have some new ideas of how to make the most of this very exciting visual display.

Soft-LED Scrim

New to MPH are the Soft-LED Scrim. The Scrim panels are made to withstand many weather conditions and come with removable Velcro liner. Removing this liner makes projections, lighting, and scenery elements visible through the screen. They fold and travel with the same ease as the fabric panels and used the same control gear as the Soft-LED Drape.

MPH LED Balls

We here at MPH saw a need for Balls so developed a system with two applications in mind. Firstly they can be used as a stunning visual effect with the ability to 'map' video through them to easily create a very large low resolution display.

The second use would be for outdoor lighting. The balls are based loosely on traditional 'Festoon' style lighting. They come in Strings of 12x Balls and each balls has individually controlled RGB LEDs inside. They are rated for outdoor use and each ball is 300mm diameter with a white opaque finish. They are DMX controllable and 1x string requires 36ch. As the power consumption is very minimal (0.9amp for 12x balls in white) many strings can be run from a single power circuit. The systems has been designed so the strings can be daisy chained making them ideally suited to parklands, festival lighting and ambient mood lighting.

Variable Speed Chain Hoists

This system give the user the ability to add speed changes, timed moves and cues to enhance the dynamics and safety of your rig. The first Stagemaker system of its kind in Australia this variable speed motor system offers many features of is big brother (Cyberhoist) with a more simplistic control and cabling system making it a cost effective solution for one off show to longer term applications.

WholeHog III

The WholeHog 3 console system offers programmers the state-of-the-art in lighting and show control software and hardware with a familiar programming interface and command line functionality. It provides two monitor outputs, keyboard and mouse ports, MIDI input and output ports, two USB ports, Fast Ethernet on a Neutrik Ethercon connector, and speakers with stereo audio output. Accessories also available.
